Yes. My Delft Blue tattoo flash designs are reusable unless stated otherwise, which means the same design may be tattooed on more than one person. The size and placement can usually be adjusted to suit your body while keeping the original character of the design. If you want to use the design but live internationally and can’t come to get tattooed by me, please purchase a flash ticket for permission. You can do so by reaching out to me via WhatsApp. If you are looking for something completely unique, I also create custom Delft Blue tattoos.

Yes. I create custom Delft Blue tattoos based on your own ideas, references or personal objects. Your design can be inspired by traditional Delftware, flowers, animals, Delft Blue tiles, porcelain, ceramics, Dutch heritage, or something completely unrelated that you would like translated into my Delft Blue style. Custom work can range from delicate Delft Blue floral tattoos to more detailed Delft Blue realism tattoos.

I’m seeing more and more AI generated Delft Blue designs, or blue floral designs that aren’t actually Delft Blue. In these cases, because you’re coming to me for authentic Delft Blue work, I will translate the idea into a proper Delft Blue version.

Yes. I regularly welcome clients visiting Delft and travelling through the Netherlands. If you are looking for a Delft Blue tattoo in the Netherlands, you are very welcome to arrange an appointment during your trip. I recommend contacting me before you travel, especially if you only have a few days available in Delft, Amsterdam, Rotterdam or The Hague. Ideally, it is safest to get in touch at least two months in advance, but sometimes you can get lucky and I have a space available. Currently, I work Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Just send me a message anyway to check whether the dates work out, and I will always try my best to fit you in.

The price depends on the size, placement, complexity and amount of time needed. Smaller Delft Blue tattoos can usually be priced individually, while larger or more detailed designs may be priced by session. If you send me the design or Delft Blue tattoo idea you are interested in, along with the approximate size and placement, I can give you a price estimate. Because Delft Blue uses blue ink, it usually takes longer than a basic black linework tattoo. I also like to make sure my work is very sharp and clean, so I put a lot of time into both the design and tattooing process. This means my work may be a little slower and more expensive than basic black linework.

Currently, in 2026, my day session price from 11:00–17:00 is €700. Hopefully that gives you a rough indication of price, but please reach out via WhatsApp and I can help you further.

I usually open bookings around three to five months in advance, so to have the best chance of getting a date that suits you, the earlier the better. If you’ve only just found me and your trip is coming up soon, please still reach out. Maybe the stars align and I have space for you! For custom work, I do ideally like to have around two weeks to prepare, but this isn’t always necessary.

I work at Sapphire Ink in the centre of Delft, the Netherlands. The studio is within walking distance of Delft train station and is easy to reach from Rotterdam, The Hague, Amsterdam and other parts of the Netherlands.

Every skin type, body part and tattoo design has its own variables, so it is very hard to determine an exact time in advance. When we discuss your design on WhatsApp, I can give you an approximate time window. It is always good to leave yourself a little buffer time when booking an appointment, as you never know exactly how the skin or tattoo will behave on the day.
